I honestly don't understand it; I have absolutely no problem with the responsiveness. Saying "not suitable for day-to-day use" is utterly ridiculous and leaves me wondering whether the person in question had some other motive to slag off the Hero. In fact, I had a friend round a couple of days ago and he had a iPhone 3G (not the GS) with him. I tested it briefly and its UI didn't feel any faster than Hero's. There were a couple of instances where Hero actually felt faster. I also thought Hero's screen is much sharper and clearer; iPhone's looked a bit "fuzzy" in comparison.
